Bad Builders for ITV..

Back in October last year I packed my suitcase and headed for sunny Brighton spend 5 weeks working as stylist/production buyer on the 3rd episode of ITV's latest new show, Bad Builders Bang to Rights which aired on 10th February.

There are 3 episodes in the series, presented by Dom Littlewood and focus on confronting bad builders as well as doing a makeover for lovely people who have unfortunately fallen prey to bad building work. I worked with a great team led by fabulous Interior Designer Pippa Jameson, and builder Chris Payne and we did a complete makeover for single Mum Emily and her 3 year old son Art.

We had 2 weeks in the production office to source everything and then 3 weeks to turn the house around from a complete shell, into the finished result.  So many kind tradesmen and suppliers offered their services free of charge of which a full list is on the ITV webpage..http://www.bangtorights.tv/tv-show/series-1/episode-3-birmingham

Pippa has done a detailed blogpost which has before and after pictures if you want to pop over and take a look...http://www.pippajamesoninteriors.co.uk/2015/life-of-a-stylist/bad-builders-bang-right-makeover/

And if you've not seen the episode then where have you been?! Don't worry, it's not too late to view it on itvplayer.com for a couple more weeks..

New beginnings..

So, it's been a while since I blogged and 2014 was a year of changes..

I decided to leave the Home Retail Group after four and a half fantastic years and went freelance in September. It wasn't an easy decision and I was sad to leave the team there and I have some great memories..

Before I left, I had great pleasure in working on the launch of the new Argos homewares range, Heart of House.

We shot the photography both in the studios in Milton Keynes and at two beautiful locations in South London..

Here's a few of the images from the AW14 range I styled..
